On this year’s Tag der guten Tat 2025, we got our hands dirty for a cleaner, greener future!

What a beautiful morning we had in Basel Merian Gärten for our hands-on composting workshop as part of the Tag der guten Tat !
With curious and committed participants, we discovered the basics of composting, shared tips and stories, got our hands dirty, and even used mature compost to sow basil seeds. Everyone went home with a small planter to grow their own!

Big thanks to the City of Basel for the tools, to Coop for the snacks, and to everyone who joined to learn, share, and take action for the planet.
